Created on a repurposed wood skimboard, this painting represents and celebrates the architecture of surfing - the waves. Each circle represents a unique wave, rolling, barreling, and rushing to the shore. The circle was chosen to specifically depict the barrel shape that many surfers ride through. In Maddie’s signature style, there is one circle in a different color than the rest, celebrating the uniqueness of all waves and all people.
The Big Wave Collection pulls inspiration from some of Maddie’s travels to Hawaii, California, and Australia and includes bold, tropical shades of blue and green.
