Maddie Bebout is a New Jersey based painter and drawing artist. Maddie began creating at a young age and is self-taught in both of her chosen mediums. Although only recently breaking into larger paintings, she creates work of all sizes. Maddie often draws inspiration from her favorite places: Hilton Head Island, SC; the University of Notre Dame (where she earned her masters degree), and, of course, her home state of New Jersey. While she loves working with just pencil and paper, her paintings are known for their vibrant and saturated colors. Maddie also looks for ways to upcycle in her art practice, and loves to give older items new life. She currently is exhibiting work through two galleries: Over the Moon Studios in Asbury Park, NJ and The Green Room at 831, an online only gallery.
