“SHORTS + STRIPES” is an original abstract painting on a denim swatch. Inspired by coastal fashion, including shorts and stripes. I used heavy body acrylic paint to give this piece texture. This denim swatch includes the back pocket (yes it’s a functioning pocket!). Painting measures roughly 7×7 inch size.

For this collection, I upcycled pairs of old jeans to give them new life. Most pieces in this collection are an abstract style, where I played around with color and let my creativity flow in the moment.
