“No. 1” is an original abstract painting on a denim waistband. This was the piece that started the entire collection! I created it one day while wanting to play with color and try a new technique. Ended up loving it so much I kept going and created an entire collection! I used heavy body acrylic paint to give this piece some texture and vibrance. This denim swatch includes the back waistband. Painting measures roughly 6×5.5 inch size.

For this collection, I upcycled pairs of old jeans to give them new life. Most pieces in this collection are an abstract style, where I played around with color and let my creativity flow in the moment.
