The Denim Collection is my latest full collection of originals. The collection has 36 pieces total - 34 abstract and 2 non abstract. As a new way to upcycle in my artwork, I had the idea of creating paintings on denim pockets and other swatches. First came HOWDY! and Smooch, my two non abstract pieces. A few months later, I revisited the idea of painting on denim and decided to try a new way of painting. The 34 abstract pieces were created purely from my creative brain having fun with color and painting with only palette knives.
